Workshop-Augmented reality

Media workshop AR

Augmented reality is a new technology that is getting more and more applications. For example, pilots, surgeons, architects and engineers practise with it extensively before entering the business world. In this workshop, students will work with augmented reality themselves. The aim is for students to build their own virtual world in 360 degrees. In doing so, they will take into account things like colour, composition, space and point of view in their design. In addition, they can determine which axes, animations and interactions will take place in this world. In this way, they experience the consequences of their designs themselves and can later modify them to create a special augmented reality experience.

Key objectives
Learning how to use augmented reality by working with different three-dimensional objects and additions. In addition, the sense of colour, composition, expression and visual language is strengthened. The pupil learns to use visual or auditory means to report on participation in artistic activities, as a spectator and as a participant. The pupil learns to reflect orally or in writing on his own work and the work of others, including artists. (core objective 52)
