Workshop - Phantom Kingdom
Digital photography is a very interesting activity for young people. It teaches them to look differently and gives them the necessary technical knowledge about photo cameras. Consequently, there are several photographic techniques that are possible by using shutter speed and aperture. One of these is Long shutter photography'. (photographing with long shutter speeds)
In this challenging workshop, students will learn to use this technique to experiment with the shutter speeds of the photo camera. They will be divided into small groups. Armed with a tripod and a photo camera, they will set off. In and around the school, they will look for places that are 'scary' enough to take ghostly pictures. They will do this by using movement and different long shutter speeds. The aim is to take photos that give the impression of ghosts. At the end, the results will be discussed in class.
Key objectives
48. Through the use of elementary skills, students learn to explore and apply the expressive power of different artistic disciplines to express their own feelings, record experiences, shape imagination and achieve communication.
